It is with the greatest of pleasure that we welcome you to the opening launch of this new independent, freelance rural consulting service that is North West Rural Consulting.
For many years the idea of beginning a freelance rural consulting firm has percolating and with some changes over the last few years, now feels like the perfect time to finally make it a reality.
Our key aim at North West Rural Consulting is to take the wealth of experience, knowledge and skills that have been developed over decades of time working in the rural industry and apply it to help support and develop rural businesses where possible. Additionally, as a very small scale independent agent we offer an affordable service and operate a digital first approach where we discuss your potential needs remotely to establish how best we at North West Rural can serve you.
This approach appeared to be something preferred in many instances as a result of COVID-19 lockdown. We know that farming is a 24/7 occupation but by offering the evenings and weekends we hope this will afford the ability to be able to get on with the work at hand without having to take significant time repeatedly out of the day. This was a huge plus for many farmers and crofters in the midst of calving, lambing, sowing or harvest and so on - especially when IACS and spring workloads, as an example, clash so dramatically.
For us, operating on a smaller scale means we can spend more of our time working for you, where other agencies require large numbers of clients on their books to make ends meet, we do not. The preference for North West Rural is to commit value to the time we work for you, to make the absolute most of how we approach your needs.
It is all a new and very exciting prospect to hopefully be working for crofters and farmers all up and down the North West and the islands and it is a passion of ours to be able to help make a difference for you.
